Job summary

Mandarin Oriental, Boston, a luxury hotel, seeks an Assistant Restaurant, Bars, & Experiences Manager to oversee day-to-day operation of the Restaurants, Bars, & Experiences division, focusing on In‑Room Dining. Reports to Director of Restaurants, Bars, & Experiences, with emphasis on standards and policy execution.

The role requires 3+ years in a similar luxury setting, strong leadership, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in a similar role, with luxury hospitality preferred.
• Proven ability to lead and manage change in a high-volume environment.
• Effective management, leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Supervise In-Room Dining team (Order Takers, Servers, Minibar Attendants); manage schedules, payroll, and labor costs.
• Supervise Banquets team (Banquet Housemen, Banquet Servers); provide schedule and payroll coverage as needed.
• Conduct detailed audits of table arrangements, service stations, food quality, and service standards; take corrective actions.
• Recruit, hire, and onboard new colleagues; collaborate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
