Job summary

Coach is seeking a Sales Support Associate in New York to greet customers, assist with purchases, and maintain a well-organized sales floor. You will operate the POS, process shipments, and support stocking and merchandising to uphold brand standards.

The role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. Prior luxury retail experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of retail experience, preferably luxury retail service.
• Knowledge of fashion trends and market competition.
• Familiarity with cash registers, basic computer skills, and POS usage.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients with warmth and professionalism; anticipate needs and provide personalized assistance.
• Serve as a brand ambassador and support social media engagement.
• Operate POS accurately and maintain cash wrap organization.
• Suggest add-on products and promote gift cards.
• Receive, process, and organize shipments; report discrepancies and maintain stockroom cleanliness.
• Manage stock levels, replenish sales floor, and execute visual merchandising updates.
• Support sales floor activities and respond to customer requests.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and adhere to Loss Prevention guidelines.
