Zachry Hotels in San Antonio seeks a Retail Attendant for The Monarch San Antonio – Curio Collection by Hilton. You will deliver an exceptional shopping experience, assist guests with merchandise, process transactions, and maintain attractive displays reflecting our luxury standards.

You’ll handle inventory, support promotions, and collaborate with hotel teams to ensure flawless service. Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays is required; prior guest-service or

Qualifications

• Experience in luxury retail or hotel gift shop is preferred.
• Customer-focused with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to operate POS systems and handle cash.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide personalized service.
• Maintain knowledge of merchandise, pricing, promotions, and products.
• Process transactions, room charges, returns, and exchanges accurately using the POS system.
• Maintain attractive, organized merchandise displays reflecting luxury standards.
• Receive, unpack, price, and restock merchandise; assist with inventory counts.
• Complete daily opening/closing procedures including register reconciliation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the gift shop and storage areas.
• Respond professionally to guest inquiries and coordinate with hotel departments as needed.
• Follow safety, security, and loss prevention procedures.
