Job summary

The Omni Homestead Resort & Spa in Virginia is seeking a hotel maintenance professional responsible for ensuring a safe, efficient, well-maintained environment. You will assist guests with maintenance issues in their rooms and public areas, perform preventative tasks, and support engineering staff as needed.

Requirements include painting, basic plumbing/electrical, minor carpentry, and strong customer-service skills. A Virginia license and ability to lift 50–100 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Must possess painting, basic plumbing, basic electrical, minor carpentry, lighting and computer skills.
• Must have a valid Virginia License.
• Able to walk, stand, climb, bend, reach and lift 50–100 lbs for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist hotel guests with guest room maintenance issues (plumbing, lighting, electrical, painting, etc).
• Perform preventative maintenance on guest rooms as assigned.
• Maintain all mechanical items in guest rooms and public areas.
• Work with team to keep back-of-house areas and equipment safe and functional.
• Follow safety policies and complete required certifications.
