Pier Sixty-Six Resort in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a Pelican Landing Cook III to join our high-volume culinary team. You will prepare and cook food to recipes and standards, maintain cleanliness, and support the kitchen during peak service times.

The role requires at least 2 years of related experience and a technical, trade, or vocational degree or equivalent. Excellent teamwork, reliability, and a service‑oriented attitude are essential to succeed in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of related work experience.
• Must have a technical, trade or vocational school degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others and support your team to reach common goals.
• Prepare meals according to recipes and standards, ensuring proper portioning and presentation.
• Regulate temperatures of ovens and grills and monitor food safety practices.
• Inform Chef of excess items for daily specials and communicate needs during busy periods.
• Stand, walk, and lift items as needed in a high-volume kitchen environment.
• Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by Supervisors and adhere to safety policies.
