Pier Sixty-Six Resort in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a seasoned Pelican Landing Cook II to join our culinary team. You will support the culinary department and contribute to authentic, high-quality dining experiences for guests.

Reporting to the Sous Chef, this role requires a passion for culinary arts, strong teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to safety and consistency.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of related work experience.
• Technical, trade, or vocational school degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members to reach common goals.
• Prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards.
• Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters to ensure proper cooking.
• Assist with portion control, presentation, and garnishing of dishes.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen area, tools, and equipment.
• Monitor food quality and safety; communicate needs during peak periods.
