Job summary

Extell Hospitality Services’ Canopy Deer Valley seeks a seasoned Restaurants General Manager to lead FOH operations across the Signature Restaurant, lounges, room service and banquets. The role demands guest focus and strong financial oversight in a luxury resort setting.

You will recruit and develop a high-performing team, oversee reservations and seating, manage labor costs, and collaborate with the Executive Chef to align FOH with BOH. Peak ski-season flexibility is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of progressive management experience in a high-volume, upscale hotel, resort, or fine dining establishment.
• Minimum of 3+ years in a General Manager or Director-level F&B leadership role, overseeing multiple distinct outlets (restaurant, lounge, banquets).
• Excellent knowledge of FOH operations, high-end dining service, lounge/bar operations, and banquet/catering logistics.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, control costs, and drive revenue growth.
• Advanced knowledge of wine, spirits, and craft cocktails.
• Strong proficiency with POS systems (e.g., Micros, Aloha), reservation systems (OpenTable, Resy), and Microsoft Office.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays, during ski season.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Front of House operations across Signature Restaurant, lounges, and banquet spaces.
• Recruit, train, and manage FOH team; conduct performance reviews and training.
• Oversee reservations, floor plans, and seating; optimize guest capacity and revenue.
• Collaborate with Executive Chef to align FOH and BOH operations.
• Monitor KPIs, labor costs, inventory, and financial performance; contribute to budgeting.
