The Gritti Palace, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Venice is seeking a Reservations Clerk to join the Reservations Department – Sales. You’ll report to the Reservations Manager and support a luxury service culture in a storied Venetian setting.

You will process bookings, handle inquiries, explain policies, and uphold Marriott standards of guest care. Fluency in English and Italian, and prior front office experience are preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Excellent communication in English and Italian (written and spoken).
• Experience in Reservations/Front Office is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Process reservation requests, changes and cancellations by phone or mail.
• Identify guest needs and determine appropriate room type.
• Verify availability and explain rates, guarantees and cancellation policies.
• Document special requests and respond to inquiries about facilities and services.
• Input data accurately in the reservation system and follow escalation procedures.
