Job summary

Sherman Associates is seeking an Assistant Property Manager in Minneapolis, MN to support the Property Manager in daily operations, marketing, and leasing for a 222-unit luxury community. The role emphasizes tenant relations, budget adherence, and regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in residential real estate, strong communication skills, and experience with RealPage or Yardi. Onsite schedule is Monday–Friday, 9:30 am–6 pm, with potential overtime and opportunities for growth

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of industry experience in residential real estate or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of PM software (RealPage/Yardi/Lead2Lease) is preferred.
• Interest in Sherman Associates mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Assist Property Manager with daily operations and tenant relations.
• Coordinate marketing, leasing, and occupancy targets.
• Prepare resident files and move-out materials.
• Ensure compliance with housing laws and budgets.
• Generate reports and monitor rent payments and deadlines.
