Job summary

Sherman Associates is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to join the Downtown Minneapolis community. The role supports leasing, marketing and occupancy with a strong emphasis on customer service and community relations.

The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years in residential real estate, proficiency with property management software, and excellent communication skills. This is a full‑time onsite position with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of industry experience within residential real estate or equivalent education/experience.
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills; effective communication with tenants, vendors, and cross‑divisions.
• Knowledge of Real Page or other related property management software is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Property Manager with daily operations of the community, including marketing, leasing and occupancy.
• Provide outstanding customer service with a focus on tenant retention.
• Maintain adherence to budgets and deadlines; communicate property conditions and needs to management.
• Prepare resident files, move‑out materials and reports; assist with budget variances and invoicing.
