Job summary

Kairoi seeks a Community Director to oversee all aspects of a multifamily community. You will lead a high-performing team, manage budgets and financial reporting, and ensure outstanding resident service and compliance with laws.

You will develop marketing strategies, coordinate vendor contracts, and report occupancy and financial metrics to regional leaders, while maintaining an exceptional living environment for residents.

Qualifications

• 5-6 years in multifamily or related hospitality field.
• Proven track record of managing and leading a team (2+ years).
• Understanding of financial management principles and practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in property management software and technology.
• CAM or IREM certifications desirable.
• Valid driver’s license with no major infractions in 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, onboard, and train new team members.
• Provide coaching, mentorship, and development opportunities.
• Conduct annual performance reviews and regular check-ins.
• Foster a positive work environment and empower team members.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and emergency procedures.
• Drive resident service excellence and 5% Distinction.

5-6 years of experience in multifamily

Team leadership experience (2+ yrs)

Financial management principles

Communication & problem-solving

Software proficiency (property mgmt)

CAM/IREM certifications desirable
