Responsibilities

• Champion the vision and culture of Bergdorf Goodman while balancing brand loyalty to BG and the vendor.
• Increase sales growth and department performance in line with company vision and values.
• Oversee all merchandise-related operations, including presentation standards, returns, damages, and vendor/merchant communication.
• Lead team execution across department functions, identifying and addressing risks or roadblocks.
• Contribute to store-wide strategic goals by establishing departmental priorities and aligned projects.
• Partner with Buyers to review business performance and implement action plans to improve results.
• Collaborate with Client Development Leads to establish and execute client engagement strategies.
• Analyze customer behavior, trends, and feedback to inform department strategies (e.g., focus programs).
• Plan and manage the departmental budget, ensuring adherence to expense guidelines while maximizing revenue.
• Enforce audit compliance and uphold department and stockroom operational controls.
• Lead, develop, and manage team performance to achieve business and service objectives.
