Bergdorf Goodman is seeking a Sales Experience Manager to lead the department with a customer-first focus, driving performance and cross-team collaboration in a luxury retail environment. The role emphasizes excellence, imagination, and graciousness in every client interaction and store operation.

As part of Exemplar Luxury Group, you will manage vendor relationships, budgets, and strategic projects while upholding brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Champion the vision and culture of Bergdorf Goodman while balancing brand loyalty to both BG and the vendor
• Increase sales growth and department performance with company vision and values, partnering with leaders
• Oversee all merchandise-related operations, including presentation standards, returns, damages, and vendor/merchant communication
• Lead team execution across department functions, identifying and addressing risks or roadblocks
• Contribute to store-wide strategic goals by establishing departmental priorities and building aligned projects
• Partner with Buyers to review business performance and implement action plans to improve results
• Collaborating with Client Development Leads to establish and execute client engagement strategies
• Analyze customer behavior, trends, and feedback—both internal and external to inform and adapt department strategies
• Plan and manage the departmental budget, ensuring adherence to expense guidelines while maximizing revenue
• Enforce audit compliance and uphold department and stockroom operational controls.
• Lead, develop, and manage team performance to achieve business and service objectives

Salary Range $85,808 - $107,260*

Compensation for this role varies by geographic location. The listed range reflects multiple markets, including higher-cost areas. Actual starting pay will be determined based on work location, experience, and other job-related factors.
