Job summary

Fairmont New Orleans is seeking a Lobby Lounge Server to deliver exceptional food and beverage service in a luxury environment. You will greet guests, present menus, recommend cocktails and pairings, and maintain detailed knowledge of offerings while upholding service standards.

Ideal candidates are personable, polished, and team-oriented, with passion for hospitality, the ability to anticipate guest needs, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Previous server experience preferred.
• Luxury hotel or upscale lounge experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills.
• Knowledge of New Orleans hospitality is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, professional, personalized service to guests.
• Welcome guests and establish a connection at the start of their experience.
• Maintain knowledge of menu, beverages, and service standards.
• Take orders accurately and communicate special requests or allergies.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly with proper presentation and timing.
• Coordinate with bar, kitchen, and front-of-house to ensure smooth service.
• Follow all safety, cash handling, and work-policy procedures.
