Job summary

NewCastle Management Group is seeking an energetic Leasing Consultant to market and lease luxury apartment communities while offering personal growth opportunities. You will welcome prospects, tour models, document tours, and process applications to ensure a smooth leasing experience.

We value customer service, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks. Weekend availability is required to support residents and show properties.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent certification required.
• One year of leasing experience preferred but not required.
• Previous customer service and/or sales experience required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate with prospective residents, the maintenance team, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and tour prospects, qualify needs, and present community and apartments with features and benefits.
• Proactively manage leads, document tours, and complete leasing and application paperwork.
• Ensure tour areas, amenities, and common spaces are well maintained.
• Walk rent readies and models; monitor vacancy status and rent-ready units.
• Monitor local market conditions and share marketing ideas to improve resident satisfaction.
• Answer calls and in-person inquiries from prospects and residents.
• Maintain a positive customer service attitude and promote goodwill with residents, coworkers, and contractors.
• Address resident concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction with management.
• Communicate about community, repairs, rent, and rules; handle inquiries efficiently.
• Ensure service requests are followed up and completed; assist in move-in/move-out inspections.
• Assist in planning resident functions and participate in events.
• Consistently apply community policies and maintain a professional leasing office atmosphere.
• Document leads, resident support, and work orders using appropriate systems.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Demonstrate excellent communication, problem solving, and negotiation skills.
