Job summary

NewCastle Management Group in Suffolk, VA, is seeking an energetic Leasing Consultant to market and lease luxury multifamily communities. You will oversee leasing staff and coordinate with vendors while delivering exceptional resident service.

You will process move-ins/outs, manage renewals, and help create marketing plans. The role requires strong communication, problem‑solving, and organization, with weekend availability and knowledge of Fair Housing laws.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated working experience in multifamily property management, including Fair Housing laws, maintenance, resident relations, leasing, rent collection and evictions, and property safety.
• Proficient in MS Office programs.
• Availability to work weekend hours required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional environment and oversee site leasing staff and vendors.
• Process move-ins and move-outs accounting duties.
• Participate in collections and legal actions as needed.
• Manage the renewal process.
• Distribute notices and maintain accurate reports on residents and property statistics.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve complaints tactfully.
• Develop and analyze property marketing plans and materials.
• Assist the Property Manager with planning and monthly resident events.
• Be prepared to cover duties in the absence of the Property Manager.
• Other duties as assigned.
