Job summary

Perennials and Sutherland is seeking an Inside Sales professional for our Boston Studio in Boston, MA. This full-time role reports to the Studio Manager and focuses on engaging clients in person, by phone, email, and online platforms to understand needs and preferences.

You will collaborate on interiors projects, manage quotes, and use Salesforce to track communications and timelines. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in inside sales, CRM experience, and strong verbal/written communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint.
• Microsoft Outlook – Inbox Management.
• Experience in Salesforce or other CRM systems.
• Minimum of two years of inside sales experience, order processing, payment deposits.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage with potential and existing clients in person, via phone, email and online platforms to understand their needs and preferences.
• Collaborate on interiors projects, including client needs, conceptual and schematic design, design development, and management of budgets and schedules.
• Resolve customer concerns regarding products and services to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Create detailed and accurate sales quotes detailing selected products, quantities, and pricing, presenting timely and professionally with client follow-up.
• Using Salesforce, maintain accurate records of all communications, quotes and client interactions.
• Strive to achieve and exceed sales goals given by showroom.
• Collaborate as a team to generate new clients and cultivate sales.
