Job summary

The Post Oak Hotel at Uptown Houston is seeking an In-Room Dining Order Taker to greet guests, take orders by phone or in person, and upsell menu items. You will possess detailed knowledge of food and beverage options and deliver impeccable service.

Responsibilities include recording orders accurately in the POS, coordinating with kitchen and service staff, and ensuring guest dietary needs are communicated.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in hotel or luxury dining preferred.
• Excellent listening and attention to detail for guest orders.

Responsibilities

• Take guest orders via phone and in person for In-Room Dining.
• Communicate special requests and dietary needs to kitchen and service teams.
• Post orders correctly in POS and coordinate with kitchen staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper handling of dining items.
• Close shifts with restocking and cleaning duties.
• Adhere to safety, security, and confidentiality policies.
