Qualifications

• Experience as a hotel engineer or similar maintenance role is preferred.
• Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Strong hands-on technical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all hotel equipment, systems and components including mechanical and electrical systems, pumps, HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, locks, and furniture.
• Inspect, repair, and replace lighting fixtures, furniture, and fixtures as needed.
• Test and diagnose machinery, listen for unusual sounds, and coordinate repairs with supervision.
• Dismantle defective equipment and install new or repaired parts.
• Maintain the physical structure of the establishment and perform routine painting.
• Assist in delivering and setting up new equipment such as televisions and mattresses.
• Communicate project status to the Maintenance Supervisor and respond to guest requests promptly.
