Job summary

The National, Autograph Collection in Oklahoma City is seeking a COOK II – Line Cook to support its food & beverage team under the direction of the Executive Chef. This non-exempt role involves station setup, cooking a variety of items and maintaining safety and sanitation standards.

Two years of culinary experience in a full-service kitchen is preferred, with opportunity to work nights, weekends, and overtime as needed. Department: Food and Beverage, located at 120 N Robinson Ave, OK.

Qualifications

• Two years prior culinary experience in a full-service kitchen; fine dining or luxury hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write and perform mathematical calculations.
• Ability to weigh and measure ingredients.
• Ability to work from and maintain production records and follow recipes.
• Additional tasks may be assigned based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Sets up, clears and breaks down work station.
• Prepares a wide variety of menu items (roasting, broiling, baking, frying, steaming, stewing).
• Operates kitchen equipment and follows safety procedures.
• Maintains sanitation, product rotation, temperature control and proper storage.
• Responds to questions with high level of service and care.
