Firmdale Hotels in New York is seeking a Deputy Head Housekeeper to support the Head Housekeeper in delivering exceptional guest experiences in a luxury setting. You will lead the housekeeping team, supervise daily operations, and maintain the highest cleanliness and safety standards across all rooms and public areas.

Responsibilities include training staff, coordinating schedules, ensuring compliance with SOPs, and liaising with other departments to prioritize room readiness and guest

Formación

• Strong leadership to mentor and inspire the housekeeping team.
• Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
• Fluent English spoken and written.
• Proficient with hotel management software and reporting.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Head Housekeeper in managing daily operations of the housekeeping department.
• Lead the team in the absence of the Head Housekeeper.
• Attend management morning meetings when Head Housekeeper is unavailable.
• Conduct daily staff briefings and ensure rooms meet required standards.
• Report maintenance and design issues to the correct departments and follow up.
• Oversee completion of daily and weekly housekeeping projects.
• Coordinate with Reception to confirm room status and readiness.
• Supervise staff and monitor cleanliness of all areas.
• Ensure compliance with safety, security, and emergency procedures.
• Train staff and maintain records of training and SOP adherence.
