Job summary

Firmdale Hotels seeks a Deputy Head Housekeeper for the Warren Street Hotel in New York. The role involves partnering with the Head Housekeeper to oversee the housekeeping team, ensuring our luxury service standards are consistently met, and stepping in during the Head Housekeeper's absence.

The position is exempt and reports to the Head Housekeeper. The successful candidate will manage daily operations, conduct briefings, supervise staff, and coordinate with Reception to ensure smooth room

Responsibilities

• Work with the Head Housekeeper to manage the team and maintain Firmdale standards.
• Run the department in the Head Housekeeper's absence and supervise daily operations.
• Attend management morning meetings when the Head Housekeeper is unavailable.
• Conduct daily briefings and ensure bedrooms meet required standards.
• Monitor room status in the computer system and coordinate with Reception on completions.
• Address guest complaints professionally and liaise with the Duty Manager as needed.
