Job summary

Raffles Boston is seeking a Host/Hostess to provide the highest quality service to guests in an attentive, courteous, and efficient manner. You will manage the floor, seating flow, and coordination with kitchen and MOD, while maintaining menus and the host stand.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, excellent English skills, and prior luxury hotel or restaurant experience is a plus. Strong hospitality mindset, ability to multitask, and familiarity with OpenTable are valued.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
• Some food and beverage experience at a luxury hotel or restaurant an asset.
• Proficient knowledge of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks. (bench test preferred)

Responsibilities

• Escort guests to tables and assist with seating.
• Provide attentive, courteous service of food and drinks.
• Maintain menus and the host stand.
• Coordinate with kitchen and MOD.
• Know the OpenTable reservation system.
• Ensure guest satisfaction.
• Other duties as assigned.
