Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco at Embarcadero seeks an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to lead luxury Hotel F&B operations.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years in luxury hotel F&B with supervisory experience, strong English, and the ability to manage costs, scheduling and guest relations across outlets including in-room dining.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in luxury hotel F&B with supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of F&B service and cost control.
• Excellent reading, writing and spoken English.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Willing to work flexible shifts as needed.
• College degree in hospitality management or equivalent preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Train, evaluate, coach and discipline F&B staff to meet standards.
• Assist with operations and cross-department feedback.
• Be visible in operations, recognize guests and handle requests or complaints.
• Describe menu items, wines, and preparation methods to guests.
• Coordinate delivery to guestrooms via IRD servers and close guest checks.
• Oversee amenity program delivery and accuracy.
• Communicate orders to kitchen via POS and verify accuracy.
• Control labor costs through scheduling and inventory control.
• Anticipate guest needs, foster loyalty, and maintain guest relationships.
• Maintain knowledge of food quality and wine offerings across meals.
• Attend operational meetings for coordination across departments.
• Ensure smooth payments processing and settle checks.
