Job summary

Fairmont Breakers in Long Beach, CA seeks an experienced Food & Beverage leader to drive strategy, training and guest satisfaction. You will forecast, schedule, and oversee staff development, ensuring standards and cost controls across outlets.

Collaborate with hotel leadership to deliver exceptional service and maintain regulatory compliance. The role requires strong people leadership, budgeting acumen, and a passion for hospitality excellence within a luxury environment.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred; BS in hotel/restaurant management desirable.
• Knowledge of MS Word, Excel and POS systems.
• Sommelier qualification an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lay out goals and develop strategies to accomplish them.
• Forecast and schedule using hotel tools and guidelines.
• Oversee training of all food and beverage staff with regular classes.
• Control standards, performance, conduct, grooming, and sanitation.
• Lead improvements to staff teamwork and performance.
• Review performance with employees on an annual basis.
• Manage expenses to maximize revenue and guest satisfaction.
