Job summary

InterContinental Miami, a luxury property overlooking Biscayne Bay, seeks an experienced Event Sales Manager to drive catering revenue and secure premier accounts. You will lead sales efforts, craft strategic plans, and coordinate with culinary and operations teams to ensure flawless events.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in catering or hotel sales, strong English communication, and the ability to manage multiple client relationships while delivering outstanding guest experiences in a top-tier

Qualifications

• Some College plus 1-2 years sales or catering related experience.
• Knowledge of hotel and food & beverage operations preferred.
• Must speak fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Develop business through direct sales solicitation; secure new accounts, maintain existing accounts and execute tactical sales plans strategy to maximize profitability of the hotel while maintaining guest satisfaction.
• Negotiate guest room rates, meeting room rental, function space, and/or hotel services within approved booking guidelines.
• Monitor and handle inquiry calls and provide client proposals in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures.
• Work closely with other hotel departments to facilitate services agreed upon by the sales office and prospective clients.
