Job summary

InterContinental Miami is seeking an experienced Event Services Manager to coordinate conferences, meetings and group activities while upholding client expectations. You will upsell client events and manage function space and room block inventory to maximize hotel profit.

Responsibilities include coordinating with hotel departments, conducting tours, assisting with menu planning and decor, arranging AV and seating, and ensuring flawless post-event follow-up and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must speak fluent English.
• Experience in hotel operations preferred.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Flexible – night, weekend and holiday shifts.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate conventions, meetings and group activities.
• Conduct tours and entertaining clients per policy.
• Assist with menu planning, decor, and F&B coordination.
• Arrange room sets, AV, seating and group blocks.
• Ensure post-event reporting and client satisfaction.
