Job summary

Silver Ventures seeks a Chief Engineer to lead the hotel’s engineering operations, assets, and maintenance programs. You will ensure all systems operate safely and reliably while supporting guest experience and asset preservation.

As part of the leadership team, you will balance technical expertise with financial stewardship, maintain regulatory compliance, and develop the engineering staff to deliver service excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
• Minimum seven years of progressive engineering or facilities management experience.
• At least three years of leadership of engineering or facilities personnel.
• Experience in luxury hotel or hospitality environment strongly preferred.
• Certifications such as CFM, FMP, CMRP are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operation, maintenance, and optimization of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
• Develop and refine preventative maintenance programs to maximize asset life and uptime.
• Oversee budget, vendor contracts, and capital projects.
• Provide leadership during emergencies and ensure safety compliance across departments.
