Silver Ventures, Inc. is seeking a Chief Engineer for a luxury hotel in San Antonio, TX. You will lead the engineering operations, asset management, and preventative maintenance programs to ensure safe, efficient, and guest-centric service.

You will supervise technicians and supervisors, manage budgets and capital projects, and partner with Rooms, F&B, Security, and Housekeeping to deliver exceptional guest experiences while maintaining regulatory compliance and high safety standards.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 7+ years of progressive engineering or facilities management experience with leadership responsibility.
• 3+ years managing engineering, maintenance, or facilities personnel; hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, life safety, and building automation systems.
• Experience developing preventive maintenance programs and managing capital projects.
• Strong financial acumen with departmental budgets and asset planning.
• Certifications such as CFM, FMP, CMRP or HVAC licenses are preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead daily operation, maintenance, repair, and optimization of all building systems including HVAC and life safety.
• Develop and refine preventative maintenance programs to maximize asset life and minimize downtime.
• Monitor system performance, analyze trends, and improve reliability and efficiency.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting for equipment failures and emergencies.
• Oversee work orders, inspections, and documentation for compliance and transparency.
• Lead engineering supervisors and technicians through coaching and development.
• Collaborate with Rooms, Food & Beverage, Security, Housekeeping, and other departments to support guest experiences.
• Manage safety compliance and emergency preparedness plans for operational continuity.
• Oversee departmental budgets, capital projects, and vendor contracts.
