Job summary

Thompson Savannah is seeking a Cook 2 who brings passion for delivering exceptional, high-quality service in a luxury hotel setting. You will execute assigned service periods, set up stations, maintain mise en place, and ensure food quality and presentation.

The ideal candidate has 2 years line experience, culinary degree or related hotel experience is preferred, and must be able to work weekends/holidays in a fast-paced environment; strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• 2 years of previous line experience preferred.
• Culinary degree or related hotel experience is preferred.
• Ability to perform all basic cooking skills and stand for long periods, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Execute assigned service period with focus on high-quality, timely food.
• Maintain station and work area, prep lists, and mise en place.
• Prepare quality food and pleasing presentations while meeting food handling standards.
• Set up your station in a timely manner; communicate needs to a manager if behind schedule.
• Train new colleagues on station and menu items; perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
