Job summary

Fontainebleau Miami Beach on Collins Avenue seeks an experienced bartender to deliver exceptional service in a high-volume luxury setting. You will take drink orders, craft cocktails, serve wine and beer, and ensure guest satisfaction with precise pouring and friendly interaction.

Candidates should have a high school education and relevant experience in a high-quality environment. Alcohol Responsible Vendor Training and Food Handler Certification are required, with strong knowledge of liquor

Qualifications

High school education or equivalent.
Relevant experience in high-quality, high-volume operation preferred.

Responsibilities

Take drink orders from guests and serve drinks.
Mix ingredients, such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks according to standard recipes.
Serve wine and draft or bottled beer.
Collect form of payment for drinks served.
Adhere to the proper par stock ordering procedures.
Complete and oversee set-up and clearing of the bar area.
Monitor and train apprentices.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge and use of flare bartending skills.
Knowledge of liquor laws and regulations concerning the service of alcoholic beverages. Strong knowledge of wines and spirits.
Ability to perform basic math skills.
Ability to handle money and make correct changes.
Ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members.
Knowledge, understanding, and compliance of policies and procedures, daily memorandums, chemical labels, and other instructions.
