Job summary

Fontainebleau Miami Beach is seeking a skilled Bartender to prepare and serve cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages for guests in a courteous, efficient manner. You will mix ingredients, serve wine and beer, handle payments, and ensure par stock procedures are followed.

Ideal candidates have flare bartending knowledge, strong wine/spirits expertise, and experience in a high-volume setting, with excellent communication and math skills. High school diploma required.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Experience in a high quality, high-volume operation.

Responsibilities

• Take drink orders from guests and serve drinks.
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails per standard recipes.
• Serve wine and draft or bottled beer.
• Collect money for drinks served.
• Adhere to the proper par stock ordering procedures.
• Complete and oversee set-up and clearing of the bar area.
• Monitor and train apprentices.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Knowledge and use of flare bartending skills.
• Knowledge of liquor laws and regulations.
• Strong knowledge of wines and spirits.
• Ability to perform basic math skills.
• Ability to handle money and make correct change.
• Ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.
