Job summary

Fontainebleau Miami Beach on Collins Avenue seeks an experienced bartender to deliver exceptional service in a high-volume luxury setting. You will take drink orders, craft cocktails, serve wine and beer, and ensure guest satisfaction with precise pouring and friendly interaction.

Candidates should have a high school education and relevant experience in a high-quality environment. Alcohol Responsible Vendor Training and Food Handler Certification are required, with strong knowledge of liquor

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Relevant experience in high-quality, high-volume operation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take drink orders from guests and serve drinks.
• Mix ingredients, such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks according to standard recipes.
• Serve wine and draft or bottled beer.
• Collect form of payment for drinks served.
• Adhere to the proper par stock ordering procedures.
• Complete and oversee set-up and clearing of the bar area.
• Monitor and train apprentices.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Knowledge and use of flare bartending skills.
• Knowledge of liquor laws and regulations concerning the service of alcoholic beverages. Strong knowledge of wines and spirits.
• Ability to perform basic math skills.
• Ability to handle money and make correct changes.
• Ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members.
• Knowledge, understanding, and compliance of policies and procedures, daily memorandums, chemical labels, and other instructions.
