Job summary

Grand Beach Hotel Miami Beach is seeking a Bartender to deliver luxury service, take guest orders, and manage beverage sales with proper pouring measures according to SOPs.

The role requires welcoming guests, knowledge of liquor brands, and adherence to safety and policy guidelines, including handling payments and using POS systems. A flexible schedule including weekends may be expected.

Qualifications

• 4 years work experience interacting with people in a positive environment.
• Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification or Equivalent

Responsibilities

• Serve food course and alcoholic beverages to guest
• Suggestively sell beverages and menu items; take orders
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
• Utilize the Point of Sales system to accurately account for and process all orders
• Request identification from any guest who appears to be under 30 years of age
• Remove dirty glasses and dishes; lift/move of bus tubs up to 25lbs
• Keep tables clean at all times
• Maintain knowledge of liquor brands, beers, and non-alcoholic selections
• Observe hotel telephone etiquette and handling procedures
• Special projects and duties as assigned
