Job summary

Raffles Boston invites a Host to deliver exceptional service in a luxury environment. The role includes managing floor plans, coordinating with the kitchen and MOD, and ensuring accurate menus and reservations, while upholding impeccable etiquette.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma, excellent English skills, and some luxury food and beverage experience; wine and spirits knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English.
• Some food and beverage experience at a luxury hotel or restaurant an asset.
• Proficient knowledge of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks. (bench test preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest quality of service to guests in an attentive, courteous, and efficient manner.
• Organize the floor, floor plan, distribution of sections, menus, etc.
• Communicate with kitchen team and the MOD at all times.
• Maintain menus, host stand and reservation system/phone; ensure updated menus.
