Job summary

Aqimero Ritz-Carlton is seeking a Host to warmly welcome and seat guests, present menus, and inform guests about specials. You will manage wait times, assign tables, and keep the host area organized and stocked to ensure smooth service.

Responsibilities include answering phones, guiding guests through the dining experience, and handling to-go orders when needed. The role requires strong communication, organization, and attention to cleanliness and safety.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication with staff and guests
• Ability to read, write, and determine wait times per procedures
• Visually scan for clean, occupied tables and bathrooms
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities
• Knowledge of workplace safety procedures
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar position

Responsibilities

• Greets and seats guests
• Presents menus to guests
• Informs guests about special menu items
• Enhance the guest experience with professional service
• Takes names on waiting list
• Assigns tables
• Runs the floor plan board
• Quotes wait times when tables are not available
• Keeps host area clean and stocked
• Answers phone and menu questions
• Interacts with guests leaving the restaurant
• Process to-go orders when applicable
• Maintains restrooms and entrance area cleanliness
• Other duties as directed
