Job summary

Outdoorsy Hill Country is seeking an Assistant General Manager to champion the guest journey and drive revenue across a 34-acre luxury glamping retreat. This full-time role reports to the General Manager and blends high-end hospitality with event sales and beverage operations.

You will own the end-to-end guest experience, supervise Sagebrush Bar, and oversee daily property operations, ensuring 5-star service, strong KPIs, and compliant operations in a scenic Texas Hill Country setting.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in management with a focus on daily operations, F&B and event sales.
• Preferred experience in boutique hotels, luxury resorts or high-end hospitality.
• Current TABC Seller-Server Certification.
• Current Texas Food Manager Certification (or within 30 days of hire).

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end guest journey to deliver a seamless, upscale glamping experience.
• Maintain a high-visibility presence and resolve issues with empathy.
• Monitor guest feedback and elevate satisfaction and bookings.
• Drive bookings for weddings, corporate retreats and family reunions; conduct site tours; meet sales targets.
• Oversee Sagebrush Bar operations; ensure regulatory compliance; manage inventory and budgets.
• Serve as Manager on Duty; lead daily huddles; manage schedules and SOPs.
• Ensure food safety standards; supervise staff certifications.
• Lead day-of event management; coordinate with vendors and partners.
