Job summary

Lone Star Lodge in Texas is seeking a dynamic Hotel Assistant General Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional guest experiences. This leadership role requires directing front desk, housekeeping, F&B, maintenance, and other departments, while optimizing service standards and financial performance.

Qualifications

• Proven supervisory experience in hospitality or hotel management.
• Strong background in overseeing daily hotel operations with focus on service excellence.
• Experience managing hospitality budgets, financial operations and revenue management.
• Familiarity with PMS and reservation systems; night audit experience a plus.
• Multilingual/bilingual skills are highly desirable for diverse guests.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of daily hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.
• Supervise and manage hospitality teams to ensure high guest satisfaction and service standards.
• Implement and monitor PMS and reservation platforms to streamline operations.
• Manage operations budgets, revenue management, cost control and financial reporting.
• Lead HR functions such as staffing, training, evaluations, and compliance with employment laws.
• Maintain guest service standards, handle escalations, and ensure memorable experiences.
• Coordinate night audit procedures and professional multi-line phone system communication.
• Drive revenue growth through sales strategies, upselling, and occupancy optimization.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and foster a collaborative team environment.
