Job summary

Actalent in Fairfield, CT seeks a Project Coordinator / Assistant Project Manager to support luxury residential and high-end custom home projects. You will collaborate with project managers, superintendents, architects, designers, subcontractors, and homeowners to drive projects to completion on time and within budget.

The role covers preconstruction planning through closeout, with exposure to budgeting, procurement, and documentation using Buildertrend, Procore, and Sage.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in construction coordination or related roles.
• Experience with residential, luxury projects preferred.
• Strong scheduling and documentation skills.
• Proficiency with construction software is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers in planning, coordination and execution of multiple luxury residential construction projects.
• Assist with budgeting, procurement, subcontractor coordination, and material tracking.
• Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, permits, and project reports.
• Coordinate project schedules and track milestones, deliverables, and deadlines.
• Work with field teams, vendors, consultants and clients for clear communication and project execution.
• Attend project meetings and document action items and follow-up tasks.
• Assist with estimating and preconstruction efforts.
• Monitor project costs, invoices, purchase orders, and budget updates.
• Maintain records in Buildertrend and other project management systems.
• Identify and resolve project issues before they impact schedule or budget.
• Support project closeout activities and turnover documentation.
