Job summary

Action Property Management is seeking a General Manager for a large-scale, luxury HOA community. The role requires hands-on leadership, team development, and expertise in operations, budgeting, and governance to deliver exceptional resident experiences.

You will collaborate with the Board, residents, vendors, and staff to optimize operations, maintain property value, and ensure compliance with CC&Rs and applicable laws, while driving a first-class living environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of General Manager HOA management experience at a large-scale community (3,000+ units).
• Strong financial acumen with budget preparation and oversight.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, conflict resolution, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between the Board, residents, staff, vendors
• Lead and develop a high performing onsite team across departments
• Oversee facilities management, security operations, vendor contracts, and service delivery standards
• Prepare and manage annual operating and reserve budget, financial reports, and capital improvement plans
• Ensure compliance with governing documents, regulations, and HOA best practices
• Support the Board with agenda prep, meeting facilitation, and implementation of directives
• Promote community satisfaction through responsive communication and proactive service
