Job summary

Action Property Management in Sacramento, CA seeks a General Manager to lead daily operations of a premier HOA community. You will guide on-site staff, align with Action’s values, and build strong relationships with homeowners, the Board, and vendor partners to deliver exceptional service.

This role requires 3+ years in HOA management, CMCA certification (or ability to obtain within six months), and willingness to attend evening Board meetings.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of property management experience in HOA settings.
• CMCA certification or ability to obtain within first 6 months.
• Ability to attend evening Board meetings as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop on-site staff to foster a collaborative, high-performing work environment.
• Oversee daily operations to maintain high standards of property quality, safety, and service.
• Attend Board meetings, prepare detailed management reports, and present strategic recommendations.
• Develop and manage annual budgets, monitor financial performance, and ensure timely payments.
• Negotiate vendor contracts to ensure quality service and cost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and company policies.
• Promote community engagement through events and communications.
• Drive long-term strategic planning and identify opportunities for improvement.
