The Houstonian Hotel, Club & Spa is seeking a Guest Services Agent to create luxury guest experiences from arrival through departure. You will be the main point of contact, handling inquiries, coordinating with multiple departments, and ensuring seamless billing and service delivery.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Fast-paced hospitality environment experience helpful.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Poised and composed with guest focus, resolving issues quickly.
• Able to multi-task with strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in English; reports to front office managers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee guests' first impression upon arrival and handle special requests.
• Main contact with guests throughout stay.
• Answer guest questions using knowledge of services, products, events, and hotel happenings.
• Communicate guest issues to managers and other departments for follow-up.
• Ensure smooth departure experiences and accurate billing.
• Manage emails, phone calls and texts with professional communication.
• Book and sell room reservations and guide guests on activities meeting their needs.
• Assist monitoring fire safety systems and emergency procedures.
• Complete daily task checklist while multitasking in the lobby.
• Support bell, housekeeping, valet, dining, and other departments.
