Fairmont Orchid on Hawai‘i Island seeks enthusiastic Food & Beverage team members to deliver warm, personalized service in a luxury setting. You will assist in Orchid Court, serve meals and beverages, and help create memorable dining experiences.

This on-site role requires teamwork, attention to detail and adherence to safety standards. The position offers an hourly rate of $28.08 USD and access to our generous benefits package as part of the Fairmont Orchid Ohana.

Qualifications

• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
• Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language.
• Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Detailed and service oriented with an eye for detail and self-motivation.
• Provide the necessary State and Federal Requirements to work in Food and Beverage (Tuberculosis Clearance).

Responsibilities

• Provide unique dining experiences to all guests through warm, personal and detailed service in a luxury setting.
• Ensure a positive first impression through cleanliness, setup and ambiance control.
• Maintain knowledge of F&B services, contents, preparation methods and hotel offerings.
• Upsell and promote food and beverage offers to maximize revenue.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and remember guest preferences for personalized service.
• Perform opening/closing duties and assist other outlets during peak times.
• Adhere to HACCP and hotel fire/safety procedures.
• Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene.
