Job summary

Fairmont Orchid on Hawai‘i Island seeks a Guest Service Agent to welcome guests from arrival to departure, ensuring a memorable luxury experience. You will be part of our Heartists team and contribute to a high level of service across all touchpoints.

In this role you will handle check-in/out, cashiering duties, guest history, and promotions of resort facilities while upholding privacy and safety standards. This position offers competitive hourly compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Excellent guest service orientation and ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Strong English reading/writing/oral skills.
• Basic understanding of local languages a plus (Hawaiian, Ilocano, Tagalog).
• Ability to work cohesively in a team and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with check-in and checkout and other cashiering duties.
• Review arrival lists and prepare materials prior to guest arrival.
• Welcome guests on arrival and issue room keys per standards.
• Maintain guest history and ensure VIPs receive special recognition and service.
