Job summary

ARVA in New York is seeking a Guest Experience Ambassador to be the first contact for guests, delivering genuine hospitality and ensuring a welcoming, organized space. You will follow opening/closing duties, take reservations, assist seating, and coordinate with the Maître d and staff to anticipate guest needs.

Must have 1 year in a luxury hotel or similar setting, be able to work weekends, and possess strong communication. Multilingual abilities and SevenRooms experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in a luxury hotel environment or similar setting in restaurants or F&B.
• Must be able to work weekends and have open availability.
• Team-oriented and capable of working in a high-pressure environment.
• Positive, engaging, and energetic personality with excellent communication.
• Personable and able to anticipate guests’ needs with strong attention to detail.
• Multilingual is a plus and adaptable to diverse guests.

Responsibilities

• Be the first contact for all guests and provide genuine hospitality.
• Follow posted opening and closing duties and manage reservations.
• Assist guests and colleagues courteously and efficiently.
• Greet guests with warmth, maintain environment, and communicate needs to staff.
• Assist seating guests, coat check, and prepare for service as needed.
• Record guest preferences and relay special requests to the team.
• Monitor guest needs and participate in providing exceptional service.
