Job summary

Manor Vail Lodge in Vail, CO is seeking a Guest Arrival and Service Manager to steward guest stays across our 140 residences. The role blends hosting, concierge, and problem-solving to create a seamless mountain experience from arrival to departure.

Lead bell staff, support front desk operations during busy periods, and maintain luxury service standards while coordinating with the Director of Owner Services and local vendors. Colorado driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• Two or more years in hospitality, guest services, concierge, or a comparable guest facing role.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a polished, hospitable presence.
• Strong knowledge of Vail and the surrounding area, or the proven ability to develop it quickly.
• Valid Colorado driver license and a clean motor vehicle record, as the role includes driving guests and running errands.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Comfort with property management systems, or the aptitude to learn them quickly.

Responsibilities

• Greet arriving guests and owners with warmth and manage luggage and ski equipment from vehicle to residence.
• Coordinate seamless departures with luggage handling and personal send off.
• Manage curbside flow, vehicle staging, and shuttle handoffs during peak periods.
• Stage and deliver welcome amenities and fulfill pre-arrival requests.
• Coordinate with Vail Sports for ski valet and equipment handoffs.
• Oversee luggage storage, packages, mail, and deliveries to residences.
• Maintain lost and found and keep lobby areas presentable.
• Ensure snow and ice safety at entrances and walkways.
• Coordinate guest transportation with taxis, rideshares, and airport transfers.
• Lead bell staff, train, schedule, and manage gratuity reporting.
• Provide anticipatory service and coordinate with owners services for repeat stays.
• Cover front desk duties during low-volume periods and maintain accurate records.
• Build local knowledge of dining, activities, and events in Vail.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, engineering and front office for proactive hospitality.
• Handle guest payments and reimbursements with proper documentation.
