Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts is seeking a PM PBX Operator for the Astor Crowne Plaza New Orleans, on-site in the heart of the French Quarter. You will handle guest calls, transcribe messages, manage wake-up requests, and coordinate paging for guest services and security as part of a fast-paced front desk team.

In this role, you’ll demonstrate strong communication, discretion, and teamwork to ensure swift, courteous guest service while maintaining calm during emergencies or high hotel activity.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication with guests.
• Ability to use a moderately complex computer system to input and retrieve messages.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephone calls and greet callers with a positive, clear voice.
• Transcribe messages and repeat information to verify accuracy.
• Receive wake-up call information and input into the wake-up system.
• Page guests and staff using the PA system and two-way radios as needed.
• Act as dispatcher for security, guest services and property operations teams.
• Assist with emergencies and maintain calm, professional demeanor.
