Job summary

Fairmont New Orleans is seeking a courteous Front Office/ PBX Operator to welcome guests and manage guest requests with precision. You will log requests in the Alice system and ensure timely follow-up, while delivering wake-up calls and providing directions and city information.

The role requires excellent communication, discretion with guest information, and strong teamwork across departments to maintain high service standards in a luxury hotel.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests courteously and provide a superb first impression.
• Log guest requests in the Alice system and ensure follow-up according to standards.
• Deliver wake-up calls within 2 minutes of requested time in a courteous manner.
• Provide information about hotel services and local attractions to guests and residents.
• Escort guests to rooms and provide full hotel tour where required.
