Job summary

HEI Hotels and Resorts seeks a Hotel Security Officer to monitor and assist in all security programs for the Astor Crowne Plaza New Orleans French Quarter. You will conduct property rounds, enforce safety SOPs, and respond to emergencies while coordinating with department heads and the MODs.

The role requires calm leadership under pressure, basic First Aid training, and strong verbal/written communication to ensure guest and associate safety.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of hotel security procedures and safety standards.
• Ability to respond calmly to emergencies and incidents.
• Strong communication and leadership for staff coordination.

Responsibilities

• Direct, monitor and assist in hotel security and safety programs.
• Perform rounds and inspections of the hotel complex daily.
• Respond to emergencies (fire, medical, weather, bomb threats).
• Maintain incident reports and coordinate with department heads.
• Assist in key control procedures and investigations as needed.
