Job summary

Hollywood VOLUME at Ten Five Hospitality is seeking a Front Desk Agent to greet and register guests, ensuring prompt and courteous service from check-in to check-out.

Responsibilities include handling currency transactions, providing directions, maintaining knowledge of room types and rates, and upselling hotel amenities to guests while maintaining a high standard of appearance and service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience required.
• Previous experience in luxury or hospitality environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets and registers guests, provides prompt and courteous service, and closes out guest accounts upon completion of stay.
• Check arrivals list against correspondence to ensure information and documents are in order.
• Handle individual and group arrivals in accordance with the check in procedure.
• Ensure shift checklists are up-to-date and finalized before end of each shift.
• Process payments and foreign currency transactions as required.
• Provide directions and local information to guests and follow up as needed.
• Have knowledge of room types, rates, facilities, and services; upsell hotel amenities when appropriate.
• Be aware of daily room availability to maximize sales.
• Follow hotel banking procedures with accurate documentation.
• Remain calm during emergencies, resolve issues, and communicate effectively.
• Complete thorough handover of arrivals/departures/special requests at shift end.
• Answer phone and in-person inquiries and relay messages correctly.
• Maintain a neat reception area and uphold safety guidelines.
